YEARLYKOS: The Free time train is leaving

Following up to my previous wonderful diaries (here, here and here), there were loads of questions that I'm not sure everyone saw.  I want to tackle them right here and now.  If you have a question related to the evening events, free time, how to get about and all things Vegas, I'll be able to answer them.  I will not be able to answer any questions about the agenda, your hotel room, or how to get rid of that rash.  

Anyway, follow me down below and your keep your hands to yourself:

First, let's start with badges.  I've seen questions about badges and am dying to talk about them all day long.  The badges were printed with your given name on them.  There is a space to write in your dKos user name or whatever name you want to be called during the convention.  The only exception is mine where it's printed Queen of the Fucking Universe.  For Life.  And Eternity.  You will bow down.  I know that many of you are concerned about people actually calling you, Steve or  Janice, so there will be stickers and markers available so you can write whatever name you want and slap that over the name I painstakingly inked in calligraphy.  sniff.

Next on the list is Evening Events.  That was fun!

III.  Airport Transportation.  Lord help me, I get this question in my email more than any other question.  Even more than, "Would you like to increase the size of your penis?"  For the record, due to liability reasons, YearlyKos can not organize your transportation to and from the airport.  If it's a cost thing, you have 2 options: cabs or shuttle buses.  This will be a good time to plug cincinnati news' YearlyKos forum.  If you want to share a cab to and/or from the airport with someone, you can post there.

D. The hotel is kid-friendly, but not animal-friendly.  Your pets will have to stay in a kennel.  Sorry. To make it up to you, I'll teach you the secret YearlyKos handshake:

5.  There is no smoking allowed in the convention area.  I will personally hunt you down and smoke all your cigarettes if I see you smoking in the convention/registration area.  We are relegated to the "outdoors" or the "casino floor".

٦.  The Business Center at the Stardust is your best bet for all your onsite printing needs.  You can also rent laptops from them, if you need.  Just tell them you're with YearlyKos for your discount.
