Anyone trying to get calls through to the good Representative?  She's already inspired my by making the statement that "we've been elected by our peers to represent our peers" ... Wowser the lady inspires me more every day .... Who's calling?  I never get through .... Texas and Arizona already ... the guy from Arizona laughing about no one being allowed in the gym ....

Here goes .... its about to come up on CSPAN at 2 pm EST and I'm hoping for a war to be started.  There's been a lot of hoopla about Ethics from this administration in the past several months ... too little, too late with entirely too many loopholes to cover their asses.  I'm hoping that MY Dems come out swinging and show those of us that have had stomach troubles with some of those leaders in DC not playing hard an gritty that they are damn proud to be a DEMOCRAT.  I want to see some appologies, some accountability and promises to see this through hell and high water which is what it'll take ... but I want to know that they're in it for the long haul and for the good.  

A fellow DFA'er and his wife from Tampa traveled to take part this past Saturday in DC.  He sent an email explaining his missing work on Friday, and urged those receving it to "Just Do Something" - bringing their attention, among other things, the local (St. Petersburg) peace march as well as being aware of what is going on and why he feels compelled to march.  When they got back home, he shared his personal experiences with us.   I've included both missives and I think you'll agree - this guy makes you feel his writing.

Just looking for some news ... anyone know the background of the live hearing on CSPAN1 right now?  
Who is Rodney Smolla - he's representing Rumfeld?  

Is this part of the No Child Left Behind thingamajig?  and why does this only pertain to Law Schools?  And these judges ... they seem to be reporters, professors, etc.  Is this for real or is this a "mock" hearing?  

Anyone else seeing this?
